The sunflower as the most representative element of the great Dutch artist

The classic Borowski toucan dedicated to one of the greatest artists of the 19th century.

Sunflowers are probably one of the best-known motifs of Vincent van Gogh, who is now considered one of the founders of modern painting.

He dedicated several works to these elements, showing sunflowers at each stage of flowering, from bud to wither.

Although some have interpreted the twisted shapes of the petals and stems as a sign of torment, it is clear from his letters to his brother that this subject gave him joy and optimism, as a symbol of the temperate climate of the south.

Moreover, the sunflower often symbolises devotion and loyalty and the various stages of decay could symbolise the cycles of life and death.

This modern sculpture, which is also an elegant decorative lamp, best represents all the motifs and colours depicted in the works of the great artist.
