LUCKY PIG
Fun and colourful glass sculpture with double luck symbol
For thousands of years in many cultures, the pig has been a symbol of strength and prosperity, the Greeks brought it to the goddess Demeter as a sacrifice, so did the ancient Germans sacrifice it to their gods.
Even in Japan it is recognised as a symbol of strength and for the Chinese the pig still represents happiness.
In Austria and Germany, therefore, there is a tradition of giving piglets as gifts with a four-leaf clover, also a sign of good luck.
Inspired by this tradition, the Borowski masters have created this cheerful, colourful glass sculpture symbolising happiness and good fortune.
Available in two bright colours, this smiling piglet is configured with a splendid green four-leaf clover: two symbols of good fortune in a single work handcrafted in blown glass of the highest quality.
Equipped with a hollow interior, it can be used as a lamp or candle holder, but also as a multipurpose container, as a centrepiece for sweets and fruit or as a decorative plant pot.
