This spectacularly coloured plate is handcrafted using a high-temperature fusion technique.
Parts of coloured glass are placed in the furnace in different types of decoration and fused with colourless glass.
The basic dichroic glass has a coloured metallic coating that can transmit and reflect different wavelengths.
This determines an intensity and mutability in the glow of this dish, making it unique due to the dichroic light effects.
This word means "two colours", one dominant and the other accessory.
This means that the colours of the same piece will appear different depending on the viewing angle.
